Korean Cultural Center in Türkiye, a part of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to  Türkiye (Korean Cultural Center, KCC) is inviting contractors to participate in the selection of its General Contractor Works for the hereunder project:

Name of Project: Interior Fit-Out Project for the Korean Cultural Center

Contract Duration: October 2026 – April 2027

Building Location: Ankara Nev 201(adress : 9895 Ada 79 Parsel, Ehlibeyt Mahallesi, Mevlana Bulvarı No: 201, 06520 Çankaya/Ankara)

Contractor’s Work scope: Scope of works includes (but not limited to)

- Architectural, Civil & Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Acoustics and Structural Cabling

Gross Floor Area: Gross Floor Area 2,241.97m², Net Exclusive Area 1,513.18 m²

*Office space to be renovated into a cultural activity area, auditorium, exhibition hall, language, culture and cooking classrooms and library

Estimated Budget: $ 3,100,000

(inclusive of construction, occupancy and other related permits)

* VAT exemption

* Final budget will be confirmed upon contract

Project Execution Duration: 180 calendar days starting from the contract date

              (If possible, we would like to complete the construction ahead of schedule)

Bidding Method: This bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures

Reason for re-bid: Since no bidder met the Cultural Center’s evaluation criteria (95 points) in the tender evaluation that closed on September 30, the Korean Cultural Center has decided to revise the criteria and proceed with a re-tender. However, bidders who already submitted the Application for Participation on September 30 are only required to additionally submit (1) the Bidding Price Proposal(Appendix E-1), (2) the Final Bill of Quantities(Appendix E-2), and (3) the list of interior construction projects executed within the past 5 years from the tender closing date that meet or exceed the bidding requirements (Appendix K), together with supporting documents like the contract, completion certificate, and design drawings.
